AAPU 2021 Annual Meeting

AAPU 2021 will take place January 11th-15th, 2021 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson Hole is home of legendary skiing and snowboarding as well as access to several National Parks in the area. In Jackson Hole, you will tap into the beauty of nature, the Teton Mountain Range, the preserved landscape and wildlife that abounds everywhere you go.
The program will be based at Snake River Lodge in Teton Village, a ski in ski out property located 12 miles from downtown Jackson Hole and 21 miles from the airport.
Snake River Lodge, one of the original Teton Village lodges which dates back to 1962 boasts a warm, comfortable setting combined with authentic western hospitality. It offers 146 deluxe guest rooms, a restaurant, fireside lounge, full service ski valet, full service spa with steam room, suana, and whirlpool, as well as a 2000 square foot top floor fitness center. The hotel also features a swim thru indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. All guest rooms feature ihome MP3 radios, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, robes, and slippers.
AAPU has limited mix of guest rooms. Please reserve early as the hotel already has limited capacity over our dates due to the holiday weekend and also some other groups in house. Deluxe double queen rooms are $299, king with balcony $329, king with fireplace $359, 1 bedroom suite $449, 2 bedroom residence $799, tax and service fees will apply. Rates are inclusive of a buffet breakfast for 2 guests daily at the Lodge restaraunt. Group rates will apply 3 days pre and post based on hotel availability. Please mention AAPU when making your reservation by phone. A 40% deposit will be required at the time of reservation with the balance due 21 days prior to arrival.
A daily resort fee of 9% of the guest room rate includes all day lobby beverages, afternoon sweets and appetizers, 2 bottles of water on arrival, high speed wifi, spa access, 24 hour fitness room access, and full service ski valet.
Area activities include aerial flights, snow coach, snowmobile tours, elk refuge, sleigh rides, dog sled tours, museums, galleries, and snowshoeing tours .
Current rates for taxis from the airport are $40 one way.

Journey into the heart of winter on snowshoes or cross-country skis with a naturalist guide! Follow animal tracks in the snow, examine different aspects of winter ecology, and enjoy the outstanding beauty of Jackson Hole as it’s blanketed in white. Tues are offered in Grand Teton National Park and in the surrounding National Forests. Hole Hiking’s guides are educated naturalist who share their passion for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and are all Wilderness First Responders.

A trip of a lifetime! The original sled dog company of Jackson Hole, WY is led by an eight-time Iditarod competing veteran, Frank Teasley, who manages a team of around 200 sled dogs. Each trip is a scenic, warm ride in a modern sled. Their musher-guides are always alert, willing and eager to point out wildlife such as deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and points of interest, Come relive the old days of mushing by running a team yourself!
