Welcome to AAPU 2022 in Jackson Hole Wyoming January 17-21!  Our host hotel is the Snake River Lodge, a ski in, ski out property at the base of the mountain located in the Grand Tetons.  Airport taxi fare is approximately $40 one way.  Valet parking is available at $18 per day.

Snake River Lodge, one of the original Teton Village lodges dating back to 1962 boasts a warm, comfortable setting combined with authentic Western hospitality.  It offers 146 deluxe guest rooms, a restaurant, fireside lounge, full service ski valet, full service spa with steam room, sauna and whirlpool and a 2000 square foot top floor fitness center.  The hotel also features a swim thru indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs.  All guest rooms feature ihome MP3 radios, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, robes and slippers.

AAPU has a limited mix of guest rooms, please reserve early as the hotel already has limited capacity over our dates due to the holiday weekend and also  some other groups in house. Deluxe double queens are $299, King with balcony $329, king with fireplace $359, 1 bedroom suite $449, 2 bedroom residence $799, tax and service fees will apply.  Rates are inclusive of a buffet breakfast for 2 guests daily at the Lodge restaurant.   Group rates will apply 3 days pre and post based on hotel availability.  Please mention AAPU when making your reservation by phone.    A 40% deposit will be required at the time of reservation with the balance due 21 days prior to arrival.

A daily resort fee of 9% of the guest room rate includes all day lobby beverages, afternoon sweets and appetizers, 2 bottles of water on arrival, high speed wifi, spa access, 24 hour fitness room access and full service ski valet.

Check in time is 4pm and check out is 11am.  The guest rooms feature MP3 players, radios, refrigerators, coffee makers, robes and slippers.  The Hotel has a restaurant/bar, spa with steam room, sauna and whirlpool, fitness center, ski valet including rentals, and an indoor/outdoor pool.  AAPU members are offered a 10% discount in the spa. 

Daily buffet breakfast is served in the Lodge restaurant and included in the AAPU room rate.  Breakfast begins at 7am.

All day beverages are available in the lobby and afternoon sweets and appetizers will be served in the  lounge.  AAPU hosted Happy Hour will take place after the meeting on Tuesday and Thursday in the lounge area.

There are several restaurants in the village within walking distance of the Hotel.

Meetings will take place in the Sundance room off the lobby Tuesday-Friday.

The Welcome reception will be held on Monday night from 6-9pm in the Sundance room and Foyer.

Tuesday’s President’s Dinner by invitation is at the Four Seasons located adjacent to Snake River Lodge and begins at 6pm.

On Wednesday we will depart the Hotel at 2:15pm for the Elk Refuge where we will enjoy a sleigh ride and elk feeding, followed by tubing at Snow King and dinner at Stillwest Brewery in downtown Jackson Hole.  Cocktails begin at 5:45.  Approximate return to the Hotel is 8:45pm.  Guests not wishing to tube will have time to wander through town at their leisure. 

The Farewell Dinner on Thursday evening is at the Mangy Moose, just a short walk from The Snake River Lodge and cocktails will begin at 6pm.

Please make sure to respond to the RSVP form and remember to include names of all members  in your party so I can accurately process the guarantees.    Please also include ages of children so that I can obtain children’s menu pricing where applicable.

RMC, our Destination Management Company, offers many tours and tour recommendations on an individual and small group basis.

We can offer a small group full day tour to Yellowstone National Park that departs the Hotel at 6am and returns by 7pm.  Cost is $345 per person and includes transport, Park entrance fee, guides, continental breakfast and gratuity.  There is a 10 person minimum to run this tour on a private basis.  Please let me know if you are interested and I will coordinate.  Maureen@global-meeting-solutions.com.  If we are unable to meet the minimum requirement, I will try to get you on a public tour.

Additional activities through RMC and their partners include a walking gallery museum tour 9:45am-2pm.  $15 plus transportation cost and guide fees.
